Substance Designer - Chainmail Study

Chainmail study made in Substance Designer and rendered in Marmoset.
The preview mesh is from Quixel.
I share my breakdown !

First, i create a ring with two circles shapes. Add the gradient to overlap the rings and blend this with a curve to delete the flat side.
After this, i put two "Transform 2D" to pan my shape.

The same process than Shape 01, just another panning to my shape for creating this superposition with a blend between Shape 01 and Shape 02.

Take the Height map and put a "Normal Map" node, add some scratches to create a more detailed normal map.

For the Roughness, i add two grunges and tweak them with Transform 2D to create a good visual.

The color is a gradient to different layer, i use the Roughness and the Height map, blend this and if it's cool you keep that ! :)

And finally, blend whole thing !
